The first owner Stanley Harrocks served an important role in WWII ( see history letter from the AM historian Steve Waddingham), he also owned several other rare and interesting Aston Martins during the 1950’s.
The second owner Mr A. Osbourne of Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, owned RLT 807 from 1959 to 1980 when on the 6th of September it passed to its third owner Mr E.J. Lines of Lower Basildon, Berkshire.
During Mr Lines forty two year ownership the car was initially lightly used , it was then dry stored for many years.
In 2017 Mr Lines commissioned a sympathetic restoration of RLT807 to Century Classics, Hungerford , Berkshire who have many years of restoration experience of this model.
The work between 2017and 2022 totalled over thirty thousand pounds, it included a bare metal repaint, full engine rebuild ,mechanical work to the brakes, suspension etc.
Before the restoration was fully finished Mr Lines decided to sell the car having lost interest in his ownership.
I purchased the car in 2022 completing the remaining restoration in my own workshop.
This included restoration of the interior leather and dashboard, wiring improvements, brightwork replating, new stainless steel exhaust system, new wheels and tyres ( originals with the car) along with other mechanical work and other final detailing. The car has been serviced and has only running in miles following its restoration.
Included with the car is its current V5C, buff logbook, original owners handbook ,factory build records and history letter.
